Luc lost his first tooth!

Luc told me about a week ago that he had a wiggly tooth, and sure enough he did. He worked on it throughout the week wiggling it and wiggling it. Everytime I would look over at him he was playing with it with his tongue. And David pulled it out for him this morning! I think he was alittle shocked by what it felt like underneath because between that a little blood he started crying but couldnt stop touching it. He is a silly kid! He is proud to enter into the BIG kid world!

Feb at a glance

Valentine's Dinner and Dessert with the Pinons!! Cassie made heart shaped pizzas for the kids and then we had chocolate Fondue, which was a big hit! Brock made himself a 3 marshmallow smore!
Braxton couldn't get enough marshmallows in his mouth!

Luc took it easy, one at a time.

Bryce doin it right with his dad making faces behind him! Ryand had too much sugar!

Ashley smiling with a marshmallow popping out of her teeth.
Braden getting ready to dig in.

The whole gang having a great time, minus Brooke who was already in bed, we are such mean parents to make her miss this!

Cassies birthday present from her hubby! And let me tell you, they are PERFECT!!
The weekend before that Cassie had a birthday and we celebrated by loading Crystals car FULL of scrapbooking stuff and headed to Julian for a much needed, much anticipated scrap weekend! It was so much more fun than I thought it would be. This is the first weekend trip or any trip I have gone on with my girlfriends and I want more!! We stayed in our jammies and scrapbooked all day into the wee hours of the morning. 3 o'clock on Friday night and 5 o'clock on Saturday night! I got so much done and had a great time. I am already looking forward my next trip!

I think it is time to update my blog!! We took Luc and Ashley to see the Monster Trucks with Davids work Partners and his family. We were sitting pretty high up but we were on the first row and had a great view. The kids loved it. Ashley got a little antsie after awhile but still enjoyed running around. Luc pretty much sat and watched to whole thing. It was also my first time and I would have to say that I had a great time. It is pretty cool to see those big trucks jumping so high. Our friends called us white trash for going so I guess I am because I liked it!

christmas morning

Christmas this year was so much fun. The kids were so into it and so excited. David set up a vidoe camera so that we could capture the whole thing on camera and then he blocked off the top of the stairs so that they would have to wake us up before they went down. It was so fun to hear the excitement in their voices as they were trying to hurry us up, we were trying to stall because it was pretty early but mainly to mess with them. David ran down before them and turned on the camera and then the party began. It was so awesome to watch them open all their gifts and realize that they got the things that they wanted. This year Luc has been way into superheros! So he got a batmobile and some superheros. He also got his first sets of Legos. I am sure there are going to be many more to come, but seriously why are they so dang expensive? He was a happy camper!

Ashley was very close to getting coal this year but I just couldn't do it and I didn't feel like dealing with the temper tantrum that was sure to come. So she got lots of stuff for her play kitchen that she got last year, a cash register, a shopping cart, more food, pots and pans and lots of cooking stuff. She also got some tinkerbell stuff. For being a sassypants, she sure got some good stuff!

And sweet Brooke, didn't get much because she doesn't need much but she did get a baby doll bed (so did Ashley), a couple of stuffed animals and a vtech jumpy turtle thing that she can sit on and bounce around, that plays music and sings. She was so happy. It was so fun to watch her experience her first real Christmas where she got into it. Last year she was a little too young to get it and we let her sleep through most of it! It was a great Christmas overall, my kids are still playing with their toys a week later so that is a good thing!

This face is priceless...

christmas eve

We had a great christmas eve with David's family this year. It was totally different than any other year we have had. Usually we read the story of Christ's birth from the bible and the kids get to act out the parts and then we sing Christmas songs as we try and ring bells at the same time. It is usually very spiritual and nice. This year we did things a little differently, after dinner we were all just hanging around talking and watching the kids play when someone decided to put on some music. It turned into a hip hop dance contest with the little kids. Let me tell you, David's sister has 3 boys and everyone in their family is very polite and always proper but let me tell you when Ansen puts on his baseball hat (Sideways, mind you) he turns into a street dancer! He and Ashley were dueling on the dance floor. I am not sure how won but it was very intertaining. And after the Beastie Boys ended Joseph said "should we read from the bible now?" It was pretty apparrent that it wasn't the right time for that. But I will say it was a great christmas eve being with the ones you love. And what could be more enjoyable really than watching our kids being happy! It was great!!

You would think I would have a hard time getting Brooke to look at the camera and smile. Oh no, its Luc that gives me the hardest time right now. Stinker!! This is the best I could get of all the cousins. It is hard to get 7 kids 5 and under to all sit and smile at the same time at 9 o'clock at time on christmas eve!
