Easter

Easter was a lot of fun this year. The kids are older and they knew what Easter is all about so they were super excited. We went to Granny and Papa's house on Saturday for Easter dinner and the huge egg hunt. Steve (Papa) cracks me up- there is only four kids old enough to hunt for eggs- Joseph, Luc, Ashley and Ansen- and they are all young. But Steve thinks they need to have baskets full of eggs and this year he decided to buy eggs that already had candy in it (smart!!). By the end each kid had atleast 45 eggs!! They were in heaven. Each egg had a piece of gum and a small package of smarties. So we have TONS of candy. And that is all my kids want to eat.

I mean really, what am I supposed to do with the front of her hair!?

Easter morning the kids got up and found their baskets. Brooke got a big stuffed lamb, that she loves, I love that it is bigger than her! They didn't get much candy in them because of all the candy from the day before but they got stickers, a puzzle, sidewalk chalk and of course PEZ. My kids love these things! We had a great Easter dinner with friends after church and over all had a GREAT EASTER!!
